  1. 01 Discovery New and changed assets are identified.
  2. 02 Scan Automated scanning with pre-approved, low-impact settings.
  3. 03 Verification Our team removes false positives and verifies critical findings.
  4. 04 Reporting The report is compared with the previous period.
  5. 05 Follow-up Fixes are verified in the next round.

Complement with penetration testing

Scanning tracks known vulnerabilities continuously; penetration testing verifies business logic flaws and attack chains in depth.

Penetration Tests

01 / 07

Why do you need vulnerability management?

Scanners produce hundreds or even thousands of findings. Some are false positives, and most are real but not urgent.

To spend your team's limited time on the right fixes, findings must be validated and ranked by real risk. Our service takes on exactly this triage and ranking work.

02 / 07

What do we scan?

  • Internet-facing IP addresses, domains and services
  • Internal servers, endpoints and network devices
  • Web applications, including authenticated scanning depending on scope
  • Operating system and software patch levels through credentialed scans

03 / 07

How do we prioritize vulnerabilities?

We do not rely on a single score. We combine three data sources with the business importance of each asset.

  • CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System): the FIRST-maintained standard that rates a vulnerability's technical severity from 0 to 10.
  • EPSS (Exploit Prediction Scoring System): a data-driven model published by FIRST that estimates the probability of a vulnerability being exploited in the wild within the next 30 days.
  • CISA KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities) catalog: the list maintained by the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency of vulnerabilities with evidence of active exploitation.
  • Asset criticality: whether the affected system is internet-facing and which business process it supports.

04 / 07

How does the process work?

  1. Scope and frequency: we agree on the asset list, scan frequency (weekly, monthly or quarterly) and scan windows.
  2. Scanning: scans run with pre-approved settings that reduce the risk of service disruption.
  3. Expert validation: our specialists check critical and high findings and remove false positives.
  4. Prioritization and reporting: findings are ranked by real risk, each with a remediation recommendation.
  5. Follow-up: the status of previous findings is tracked in each new report and closures are verified.

05 / 07

What you receive

  • An executive summary with period-over-period trends such as open findings and mean time to remediate
  • A validated, prioritized technical findings list with remediation guidance
  • Asset-based task lists that can be handed to system owners
  • An optional review meeting to walk through the results

06 / 07

How is it different from penetration testing?

Vulnerability management regularly scans a broad scope and finds known weaknesses. In a penetration test, specialists manually exploit and chain vulnerabilities and look for business logic flaws.

One provides continuity, the other provides depth. See our Penetration Testing page for an in-depth assessment.

07 / 07

Who is it for?

It suits organizations that want regular scanning but lack the capacity to triage results, companies that must show evidence of periodic scanning in audits, and teams with fast-changing infrastructure.
